Nicole Kidman tries to keep Tom Cruise out of wedding
At least that’s my theory when it comes to why Nicole Kidman’s planned wedding to country singer Kevin Urban has so many quirky security precautions.
First, there won’t be any paper invitations because they fear it would fall into the wrong hands. Apparently their guests will receive emails, and Kidman or Urban will follow up with phone calls.

The guests will also remain clueless about where the event will be held — instead they’ll be picked up by a limo. There are also rumors that Kidman spent $300,000 reserving all the helicopters in the Sydney area to make aerial shots virtually impossible — not to mention, the wedding will be taking place at night.
Kidman will be releasing footage and photos of the wedding to the press a few hours after the ceremony, claims the London Daily Mirror.
Update: Quite a few people have been looking for Nicole Kidman’s wedding photos, so here are a few for you to check out.

And here are some pictures of them heading off to their honeymoon.

Here we see the newlyweds leaving their hotel in Sydney.

And arriving in Fiji.

Apparently Kidman was very surprised by the support she’s been receiving about her wedding. Fametastic describes:
Hundreds of fans lined the streets and cheered as Nicole was driven from her Sydney home to the chapel for the ceremony, and speculation had filled columns in the country’s higher profile newspapers as well as the usual magazines.
Nicole’s Australian publicist Wendy Day revealed Nicole had to be taken into a separate room when she reached the church so that she could regain her composure and reapply her make-up before being walked down the aisle by her father.
Day added: “she wasn’t just touched, she was gobsmacked, she was overwhelmed. She couldn’t believe the amount of support and warmth and … Australian-ness that was there for her.”
In addition to that support, apparently there are still paparazzi trailing her all the way to Tahiti, where she’s staying at the St. Regis for $15,000 a night. Courtesy of Just Jared, we’ve got pictures of them on their honeymoon.

Britney Spears: on the road to nervous breakdown
What is it about this girl that interests countless fans and subsequently, countless paparazzi? Britney Spears would love to know the answer to that one.
Fueling rumors that her marriage to K-Fed isn’t going so well, it seems that Britney is planning on going to Chile on vacation with her new bodyguard, Perry Taylor, without her husband Federline.
A source told the Daily Star, “Britney wants to go somewhere to reflect on the turbulent last couple of months and thought a break in Chile would be just the ticket.”
It seems her family has even hired a “Christian Life Coach” to help her out.
“Apparently, they’ve even hired a Christian life coach to help make that decision,” Us Weekly’s Katrina Szich revealed to Extra TV. “We’re hearing that Britney is very emotional, and she’s crying all the time. Our sources tell us she will file for divorce eventually.”
But now what? Spears went on NBC’s Today show recently to debunk the rumor:
She says, “[My marriage is] awesome. He helps me. He has to. I’m [an] emotional wreck right now.” She claimed that it was the paparazzi that has forced her into this corner.
Spears said, “They’ve crossed the line a little bit. They like to have the person they pick on, I feel like I’m a target.”
And of course, a daily tidbit of wisdom from our favorite former pop star: Spears insists she doesn’t understand why the media appears to want her marriage to fail, saying, “If they [want it to fail], that’s sad. I think everybody should be pro-love.”
Tune in next time for the next exciting segment of Britney Spears’ dramatic saga, where I bet KFed’ll release his next single insulting Britney’s manny.
Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes Prenup
Interestingly, Tom Cruise is paying Katie Holmes to be his wife for a while. MSNBC has the exclusive scoop:
Their lawyers have come up with a contract that will give Holmes $3 million a year up to $33 million for each year that she is married to Cruise, as well as a palatial home in Montecito, California, according to Life & Style Weekly. If the marriage lasts longer than eleven years, the contract becomes void and California’s community property law kicks in — giving Holmes half of Cruise’s rather sizeable fortune.
So, if Tom Cruise gets tired of a family and wants to be single again, Katie Holmes gets $3 million per year of putting up with her sugar daddy, and a house of her own. Cruise’s budget won’t be dented, and he won’t have to worry about a messy divorce.
It’s almost like Tom Cruise thinks that the dating isn’t enough, and that they need an 11 year trial period for their marriage. Maybe then he’ll agree to release photos of new baby Suri–unless she’s actually some kind of more-visible alien.
