We recently came across these high-resolution photos of Britney Spears partying it up in California, when we noticed she had a cellphone in her hand:

Immediately, we needed a closer look so we could identify the model and make:

Wow! It’s an LG enV VX9900, which sells for just $80. I paid more than that for my RAZR. I guess to be a real celebrity, you need a QWERTY keyboard, VCAST music so you can listen to yourself, GPS because you’re too ditzy to read maps, and a memory card to hold all the party photos.

Who would have thought Britney Spears would be caught with a cheap $80 LG cellphone. Not me! Not you!

Jason Alexander apparently spoke to ex-wife Britney Spears in the last week; why the pop singer would want to talk to her husband of three days, I don’t know. Maybe marrying him was her idea, and splitting up her manager’s.

The Sun has a few choice quotes:

“I was really shocked when she married Kevin. I figured it was a fling that would fly over. I never thought she’d marry him. He always seemed so negative.”

We were shocked too, but we always knew that he was bad news before the whole thing started. Naive to say “negative”–you want something stronger, like “stoned stupid.”

“All beautiful girls like other girls in some way. All girls are attracted to other girls. She found other girls attractive, yes, but we never did anything about it.”

Which is to say that Britney Spears’ lip-lock with Madonna wasn’t an accident…

“She had a tummy tuck after the birth of her second child. She’s working on all of that. She’s worth hundreds of millions — of course she looks good.”

Didn’t we already know all celebrities elect unnecessary plastic surgeries? It’s what modern America’s economy is built on.

Britney has filed for divorce. Yes, I know I’m late on this, but I’ve been busy. We also all knew that this was coming–who could stay married to their backup dancer with kids for very long? Even the nanny was more of a man!

The divorce cites the classic “irreconcilable differences” and requests custody of her two sons, with “reasonable visitation rights” for K-Fed.

Here’s what he’ll be able to extract from the terms of his prenup:

• Half of their mansion will go to Kevin
• Kevin gets $30,000 a month for half the length of their marriage. Since they were married for 2 years and 1 month, that means a hefty payout of $360,000 over the next year. With $1000 a day of pocket money, Kevin can still buy love.

That’s it though–Kevin has to pay child support for his own children, and return any gifts given to him worth $10,000 or more. Perez Hilton has the fabulous theory that dumping Federline is her way of increasing liquidity:

Without touring, and getting paid for commercial endorsements, Spears doesn’t have much of a profitable career these days. Add in two kids, a husband with expensive tastes who doesn’t earn money, various family members and employees, and Spears could be facing Michael Jackson type financial problems. Offloading Federline, even with a prenup, is probably the first best thing she can do to cut expenses.

So my readers, how do you feel about the divorce? Was it the right move?

This week, all the news is Britney news. Apparently, according to a recently dismissed lawsuit, the theory that Britney Spears may have produced an adult film with her husband is acceptable journalism, because:

Superior Court Judge Lisa Hart Cole said Spears has “put her modern sexuality squarely, and profitably, before the public eye” and it would be unlikely for the magazine article to be found defamatory. “The issue is whether it is defamatory to state that a husband and wife taped themselves engaging in consensual sex,” Cole wrote in the decision issued last week. “The backdrop against which this issue must be addressed is that the plaintiff has publicly portrayed herself in a sexual way in her performances, in published photographs and in a reality show.”

According to a NSFW article at Fleshbot, a video is circulating the web of a woman (allegedly Britney) performing fellatio on an unknown male, presumed to be her late husband Kevin Federline. Fortunately, it appears that the tape is a fake and we’ll never have to see Britney getting it on. Remember when she was one of those “nice girls?” Yeah, neither do we.

Released at midnight this morning on iTunes, K-Fed’s latest work–an album titled Playing with Fire–hasn’t even made the top 100 list. On Amazon, his hot album has a single 1-star review, and is currently selling at number 7,172. Another 7072 places and Kevin will be on the very bottom of the top 100 list.
