Of course, none of this matters if people don’t care about the 2007 ads. Sure, they pay $2e6 for a 30s slot, but then the URLs they drop us are completely lame.

Heroes Season 2 A GO!

Posted in TV by The Gossip Monger on January 19th, 2007.

SciFi says that Heroes will be getting a run at a second season, which is awesome:

The writers are still breaking stories for the end of season one, which will run a full 23 episodes, but have already started talking about where the series will go in season two. “It is forcing these discussions about season two, and that’s been actually one of the really fun things about this kind of storytelling,” Kring said. “It seems to want to generate ahead far enough so that you’re never really in that much trouble.”

Unfortunately, there’s a spoiler in the article, where they promise “the storyline concerning the looming apocalypse will be wrapped up before the end of this season.” I was hoping the world would end!

24 Season 6 Download Torrent

Posted in TV, Scandal by The Gossip Monger on January 6th, 2007.

Asia Team has leaked the first four episodes of hit TV series 24 to bittorrent earlier today. The Spanish pirate group managed to get their hands on a pre-release DVD of Fox’s Season 6 Premiere. For the download, tvRSS has all the links. For obvious reasons, we’re not going to link to the torrents, but they’re not hard to find.

Here are a couple spoilers for your viewing pleasure, from the first episode:

Always so clever, Mr. Jack!

Meanwhile, fans around the world without internet eagerly await the official season premier of 24. And, since it’s highly unlikely this is some kind of publicity stunt (unlike the five summer promo leaks, which were attributed by some to the studios) we can’t except more generosity in the future.

Is Wentworth Miller Gay?

Posted in Actors, TV by The Gossip Monger on January 5th, 2007.

That’s the million dollar question–but we don’t think so. Wentworth Miller denies being gay in a recent interview in which he answers,

“No, I’m not gay. I know these rumours are out there … I’m cool with the fact that they exist, I mean this is about fantasy. Certain people are going to have certain fantasies, if someone wants to imagine me with a woman, or a man or one of each that’s cool with me as long as you keep watching the show.”

To further his alibi, the Prison Break star goes out in public with humans of the female persuasion. Well, it could be a false clue!
