Eminem to star in new film
After his successful stint as a rapper in 8 Mile, he’s going to be playing a bounty hunter in a remake of the 1950s TV series Have Gun - Will Travel. The original show ran for six years in the U.S. and starred Richard Boone as Paladin, which will be Eminem’s role.
“When this property essentially became available, we discussed it and brought it to Marshall,” Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg said to media. “He was very intrigued and excited about the concept.”
The project is still in its very early stages, and they have not yet decided whether it will be filmed in Detriot, Marshall Mathers’ hometown. Chances are that Eminem will also contribute to the soundtrack for the movie.
