Kevin Federline Divorce Settlement: Britney Spears Pays Up
Kevin Federline is getting a lot more than the $1,000,000 we thought Britney would be giving him. It turns out he’ll actually be getting assets worth $13,000,000 and other intangibles, like 57% custody of his two boys.
According to Star Magazine, they had a conversation like this:
Britney Spears: “Do you really want to do this?”
K-Fed: “Yes.”
Britney Spears: “You’re the biggest mistake I’ve ever made, but thank you for my babies.”
Kevin is also prohibited from writing a book about the experience, but he gets the kids and a ton of cash:
- A 2004 pre-nup called for K-Fed to get $250,000 for each year of their marriage, but Spears upped that figure to $500,000 to speed up the negotiations.
- He receives half the proceeds from their Malibu mansion, which is on the market for $13.5 million.
- $25,000 a month in child support for each of the couple’s two children until they reach 18. He also gets custody of the boys four days a week.
- Federline gets to keep all the gifts Spears bought them during their marriage.
- He’s forbidden from writing a tell-all about their marriage.

britney made a HUGE mistake with kevin. gotta give it up tho… he walked away BANKING!! britney should learn from this experience. oh well….you live the life of fame and sometimes have to deal with life’s humilities. live and learn! they both need JESUS.

This k fed guy is a bum. Sucks he suckered brit in. She has her problems, but i thibk he has more. I personally like brit and understand her moments of stress.
