Michael Vick Pleads Guilty; Innocent According to Jamie Foxx

Posted in Scandal by The Gossip Monger on August 25th, 2007.

According to The Smoking Gun, NFL star Michael Vick pleads guilty to a felony charge for his participation in a dogfighting ring:

The Atlanta Falcons quarterback admitted that his Bad Newz Kennels operation wagered money–which he provided–in pit bull fights. However, “Vick did not gamble by placing side bets on any of the fights,” according to a “summary of the facts” that was filed today in court. That document, a copy of which you’ll find below, also notes that Vick “was aware” that three of his cohorts killed several dogs that performed poorly in test fighting sessions in mid-2002. The summary reports that “Vick did not kill any dogs at this time.”

Interestingly, Jamie Foxx claims that Vick didn’t know any better, because he is black:

“It’s a cultural thing, I think. Most brothers didn’t know that, you know. I used to see dogs fighting in the neighborhood all the time. I didn’t know that was Fed time. So, Mike probably just didn’t read his handbook on what not to do as a black star. I know that cruelty to animals is bad, but sometimes people shoot people and kill people and don’t get time. I think in this situation, he really didn’t know the extent of it, so I always give him the benefit of the doubt.”

Does that mean that if I were arrested for wire fraud Eminem would say, “It’s a cultural thing, I think. Most white collar crime, obviously, is accidentally committed by Caucasians.” A crime is a crime, regardless of the race of the person committing the crime. Blaming “black culture” is a huge step down from assigning responsibility and rehabilitation.

okay Ryan Grass, don’t start acting like you know everything, when you can’t even spell correctly. that shows how smart you are. you are an ignorant, selfish *******. Get an education and maybe you will learn that it is illegal to own a dog fighting ring. dumb ****.

Dogs were not meant to kill. Wolves were domesticated tens of thousands of years ago by humans…… the modern dog slowly emerged because of it’s dependence on humans and the selective breeding done by man to satisfy the skils needed within certian environments. As another post implied, you sound as about as educated as inbread hillbilly with a few pair of chromosomes missing. And the major issue with Vick isn’t the dog fighting, but the brutual acts committed when the dogs wouldn’t preform in the pit. Saty in school or go back to school because it doesn’t sound like you have much of a chance for success.
