Snoop Dogg: Tha Blue Carpet Treatment
Wikipedia writes about the new album that “Snoop has been collaborating with the likes of Timbaland, R. Kelly, Rick Rock, Warren G, Pharrell, Young Jeezy, Mac Minister, Brandy, Ne-Yo, Akon, will.i.am, Jermaine Dupri, Janet Jackson and even Stevie Wonder. The album will be released on November 20, 2006 in the United Kingdom and the next day in the United States.”

However, I’ve heard from good sources that it’s hot stuff, with the following track listing:

Tha Blue Carpet Treatment is one of the best albums I’ve heard in years–playing “Get A Light” back to back with Jay-Z’s “Do U Wanna Ride” gets me in the right “frame” of mind. Great loop with which to wake!!!!
An absolutely fantastic album–and that is coming from a big genesis/pat metheny/bach/keith jarrett/dave matthews/carter beauford fan, for what it’s worth.
