Show the video so that the average bloke doesnt go out and try to push there luck like he did. Let the video teach the human that we are weak in the animal world and they will survive even if they have to kill a superstar such as Erwin.
I dont think they should show the video. Would you like it if they showed your death on worldwide tv?
shawn pruett how do you think your kids would feel if your death was spashed all over the tv like that i think you need to the more of the kids
Steve stated a while ago that if he was to ever die while out filming to not stop rolling the tape….so people could continue to learn from him. I dont know if it is something I could watch but if it is what he wanted…..
i once saw steve in australia… i thought he was always a hero, im only 13 and i think he was a really hero. Every thing he did was good not bad, steve was to good, young and put together a good man. he had a good heart and never wanted to kill the animals but to save and look after them. some people say that he deserved to die because he was an idiot, but really he was a saver e helped wiled animals that the vets could’nt, even tho some people say that he was an idiot, well i dont and you should to.
To protect & save the wild life ; Steve is the ONLY person who put his life so close to the wild animals which he was already prepaired for the worst. I think he is an animal Savior which has changed poachers, animal hunters & etc who does think of Steve before hurting any living creatures
In australia,we have a saying. If it doesnt kill ya then it makes you stronger.Steve had many a near death mishap almost everyday. He enjoyed the thrill and the rush of being close to death.Watching the video only showed just how much he enjoyed life.If we all watch our heroes live in day to day life then we need closure when we know they have died.
Sad farewell to steve,Peter Brock,Im with Ivy,Colin Theile and many more loved characters.
Crocs rule.
i am just so sad. if terri is reading this i just want to say that all of America
has lost a one of a kind man. i don’t think that there will ever be another man or woman as great and awsome as Steve Erwin.
R.I.P STEVE ERWIN
WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!
I am so sad for Steve Irwin and his family. This guy is going straight to heaven and Noah is gone lost his job in heaven because Steve is now in charge of the animals!!! All the people and my people in South Africa is gona miss him. He is not going to R.I.P because he would never lay still!!!
WE LOVE YOU AND WE MISS YOU ALREADY!!!
Steve was fun to watch. I do belive he was reckless. He did put the lowest comon denominator at risk. If Steveo can do it. He lived on the edge of a cliff. So if you live on the edge someday you might just fall off. He did.
I dont know what to say , I grow up with his storys , even now when i see him , i dont beluive , i dont wanna beluive , i dont think he is not with us.I feel big lost . I have many things to say , but i just cant.
Such a good guy.Goodbye Steve.take care of the animals in heaven.
I didn’t know him, but I do feel for sure, wherever he went…has to be a better place and we will all be there sooner or later. The believe that all great people that die and just go away forever is not believable to me.. They must go somewhere…and they don’t come back to tell us because we would all follow quickly if they did…..would we not???? Steve and the rest who have died…must be in a place waiting for the rest of his family and friends to join him someday. …and it will be okay.
We are the ones it hurts.. we miss him, HIs family will miss him..The living has to go on…. It is us…who must survive his demise and go on till its our turn….
So…while ur here… enjoy what u can…including Steves knowledge and lifes lessons while he was here……
I loved steve he was the best and a hero to me.
I will miss you very much R.I.P.
Love Animals!
It is said ” the true measure of a man is not what he will do for his friend, but what he will do for a complete stranger ”, imagine the measure of a man, who did so much… for the animals ! God Bless !
I wish he never left us
to the comment two comments ago or Dave; I was watching a tribute show on tv to Steve and he said something to the extent of, “If a crocidile is mauling me, I want them to keep the camera rolling and I want to go down saying ‘cryky’ ” so if its a question of wheather Steve would have wanted it or not, I think it could be shown. But I think it would be a problem to show a real death on tv. I don’t know, wheather there’s alot of blood or not, but the idea of it being a real death would make it mentally graphic.
Steve was possibly called home because Noah could no longer keep up with the growing number of animals in heaven. I have no dought he is on the right side of God. Terri, you will be with Steve again one day, and he will have prepared a beautiful home for you and all of the animals. Steve we miss you.
We lost a real Hero everyone. All my sympathy goes out to Steve’s family.
Rest in peace my friend.
Do not show this terrible tragedy on t.v. I saw a 10 second video of a man getting killed thats how long it took me to get it of my computor. What little i saw is forever inbedded in my mind. you can watch war movies all day, but the real thing is ugly beyond words.
Show it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOW OR ELSE……..
I do think they should show the video, because years before Steve’s death, he had once said, “If i am going to die, I at least want it filmed for others to see.” I am just saying. That is what he said, wouldn’t he want that?
I don’t think that we should feel bad for him, cause he died doing what he loved best; hanging out with wild animals…
RIP!!!
Steve Irwin was my hero. I shall miss him dearly. This man put his life in dangoure to teach us all so much, Rest in peace, mate.
Crocs Rule!
I don’t think showing tape of a man during his last minutes of life,is necessary, nor should it be the way we remember him. What is important is how many lives that Steve changed, and how much gratitude and satisfaction was recieved from his daring, yet heroic acts of conservation.Terri,Lindy,Bob,and other family members I can only imagine how many people have thanked Steve or gave condolences after his passing, but I’m sure one more won”t hurt. I cannot begin to express my gratitude towards your family for all the years you have invited us into your home, workplace, hospital room, your lives period. You all have left a permanant mark in the hearts of millions. It’s just so unfortunate that we’ve lost such a friend,a teacher,a role model,a true mate!!! Terri I know it must be unbearably hard to cope right now,but please know, that the friendship, and bond that you and Steve obviously shared was,is,and will always be strong enough to over come any obstacle life sets before you.Your family will be in my heart ,my prayers, and my family’s home for many years to come. Thanks again for sharing with us such an insipirational journey.
SINCERELY,
FLIPPER AND FAMILY
First and foremost, my condolences to the Irwin family for their loss. I enjoyed watching all documentaries made my Steve, he will be missed but never forgotten. On the topic of the video of his death, I think it’s much more than that, it’s video of his life– what he loved to do and I believe we can learn from it and the proceeds could be used for what Steve stood for, saving wild life.
What happened to “You can find anything on the internet.”
It seems the only thing I can’t find is the video of him getting killed.
=(
It’s depressing.
Ci mancherai Steve. Persone come te fanno bene all’umanità . Veglia su di noi. Ciao.
